Jon Dean MA (Cantab) is the sole director. He qualified as a Chartered Valuation surveyor in September 1983 whilst working for Weatheralls in London. After a spell with Stiles Harold Williams in Croydon he set up Forbes Dean Associates at the end of 1989. He resigned from the RICS at the beginning of 2026.

After many years of dealing with all sectors of the market he is now only dealing with residential lease extensions and enfranchisements, mainly in South London as far as the M25

After 40 years of living and working in South London, including two booms and two recessions, he has an in depth knowledge of the market and able to give accurate and fair advice. His clients have included:
